What we collect when you use this website or contact us, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Written in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Who we are

What we collect
- When you send the contact form: your name, email address, and, if you add them, your company, phone number and the details in your message.
- When you email or phone us: whatever you choose to share with us.
- When you visit the website: our web server keeps a standard access log of your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested. The contact form also keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for one hour, only to stop spam.
Why we use it
Only to reply to your enquiry and to provide the services you ask us about. Access logs are used only to keep the website secure and working. We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t add you to marketing lists.
Who else handles it
- The website and our mail server are hosted in Germany by our web developer, Frontier Digital, on a Hetzner server. Because this is outside South Africa, we use a provider with appropriate data-protection safeguards.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses no cookies, no advertising trackers and no analytics. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
How long we keep it
- Website access logs: deleted automatically after 14 days. Mail server logs: after 4 weeks.
- Enquiries: for as long as we need them to deal with your request, and for any period the law requires us to keep business records.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you’re not happy with our response, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
